The plain parts

This is not Berlin, nor Stockholm or the Alps. This is the outer suburb. The satellite.
Trends never make it here.

This is the sound of worn down commuter trains and small towns. Bleak lights and the coughing diesel of the suburb bus on a cold wet night. Slush, sleet and weeping winds over rusty playgrounds.

In 2021 biaspoint got the opportunity to play at DIY-SYNTH & SOUNDART DÜSSELDORF.

We brought our homemade instruments, a four track and a Monstera plant, and performed on the theme of waves (Wellen in German). In the afternoon Anders also held a workshop on modifying Walkmans for musical purposes.

Part of the performance was filmed and you find it deep linked into the youtube clip below.
A abbreviated version of the 25min performance has been published as a single track. Find it in the list above.
Moogulator also did a nice write-up and published photos from the event.

Bio

The band biaspoint is a loose collective of creative individuals interested in exploring rhythm and noise using electronic means. It was born out of the ashes of the short-lived and now defunct solo project Gnostic Proboscis.

Post cold war body music, German kraut, Scandinavian metal and too much bunker techno. These are some of the ingredients that kicked off the inspiration and creative process of electro noise band biaspoint. Engineers using their skills to make electronic music and accoustic installations.

Pulsating noise and a love for the creative process brought us here. That, and solder fumes.
