Oscillations
Noise, clatter, whining and pulse.
Some beats tell a story. Some don’t.
Fibers and threads. Waves and oscillations.
Some beats tell a story. Some don’t.

In 2021 biaspoint got the opportunity to play at DIY-SYNTH & SOUNDART DÜSSELDORF.
We brought our homemade instruments, a four track and a Monstera
plant, and performed on the theme of waves (Wellen in German). In
the afternoon Anders also held a workshop on modifying Walkmans for
musical purposes.
Part of the performance was filmed and you find it deep linked into
the youtube clip below.
A abbreviated version of the 25min performance has been published as
a single track. Find it in the list above.
Moogulator also did
a nice write-up and published photos from the event.
Early 2023 we joined the fun with #jamuary2023 and submitted two contributions.
About
At the origin of biaspoint's
sound are the minds of engineers turned musicians,
who channel their technical skills into crafting both mesmerizing electronic tracks and immersive acoustic soundscapes.
The band's signature is its ability to harness pulsating noise, creating a sonic space where the mechanical and
the organic intertwine seamlessly.
Their music is a playground of pulsating noise and intricate rhythms, where electronic music, found sounds and acoustic elements collide and fuse together. It's a sound characterized by a love for the raw, the stochastic, and the process of musical exploration itself.
biaspoint
electronic ensemble draws from a diverse palette of sonic influences, spanning from minimalism,
ambient and musique conrète to the motorik rhythms of German kraut and the dark intensity of Scandinavian black metal.
Pulsating noise and a love for the creative process brought us here. That, and solder fumes.
